Early 20th century evening coat, from Leidler, Chicago: fine black wool with exquisite detail of interlocking castellated cutting to godets in front of both sleeves and down the spine, silk velvet deep crossover collar and very lovely silk lining , cut in a bold zigzag. Some portion of wear to lining, otherwise good condition for age (size 10 approx)
